Global Labor Forecasts gives managers and administrators a centralized view of labor needs across all accessible jobs. Use this page to compare available, forecasted, and assigned workers, identify staffing gaps, and make informed scheduling decisions across labor types and specialties.
To open Global Labor Forecasts, go to Jobs > Global Labor Forecasts.
Monitor Labor Needs
View labor forecasts by day, week, or month and use filters to focus on the jobs, labor types, resource types, or specialties that matter most. The summary helps you quickly identify:
Available workers — How many workers are available.
Forecasted workers — How many workers are expected to be needed.
Assigned workers — How many workers are currently assigned.
Use this information to identify where jobs may be over- or understaffed and determine where workers may need to be reassigned.
Customize Your View
Use Quick Filters, sorting, and saved views to focus on specific staffing scenarios. Available filters include:
All Jobs
Jobs with Daily Assignments
Jobs with Labor Forecasts
Jobs with No Labor Forecasts
Jobs Missing Daily Assignments
Jobs Missing Labor Forecasts
You can also filter by Resource Type, such as Employees, Crews, Mechanical, Project Managers, and other configured resource types.
Notice the toggle added between Labor and Assets for the Capacity Summary section. Users can view Asset Forecasts under Jobs in addition to the Labor Forecasts.
Review Assignments
In the Daily/Weekly Summary, select highlighted employee counts to see which employees are assigned or unassigned.
Left value: Assigned employees
Right value: Unassigned employees
Jobs with assigned employees but no labor forecast are also included, helping you identify jobs that may need forecasting.
Create and Export Forecasts
Use Add New to create a job labor forecast directly from the Global Labor Forecasts page. Select the job, date range, forecast type, and hour distribution.
You can also select Export to Excel to download the displayed forecast data for further analysis or reporting.
