Jobsite > Projections

The Jobsite Projections page is where users can create or edit their monthly Cost Projection for a Job.

• Months that are already closed but exist in the system will be available as ready only
• For future months that do not have a Cost Projection yet, users can click the Initialize button to create a new month's cost projection

Once viewing a specific monthly cost projection, users will be able to see all of the tabs that have been configured in Admin > Projection Setup > Projection Categories

Each Projection Category tab will only show the Budget Codes with Cost Types you have linked to the Projection Category.  These can be heavily customized by your Cost Projection / Resource Planning administrator.

Here are some of the options that may be configured on the tabs in your system and how they affect your entries:

• Budget Group filter
  • If Budget Groups are enabled, the filter on the tab will allow you to quickly filter the Budget Summary, Labor Forecasts, Employee Assignments, and Cost Projection Budget Codes sections based on what is setup on the Budget Group.
• Budget Summary
  • If enabled, the top of this tab will display the Budgeted Labor Hours Summary section. This summary section will show:
    • Total Projected Hours - Actual Hours - Future Forecasted Hours = Forecasted Remaining Hours
    • Projected Cost - Actual to Date Cost - Future Forecasted Cost = Forecasted Remaining Cost
• Employee Assignment
  • If enabled, below the Budget Summary section there will be a section that shows all long-term employee requests and assignments on this job and their hours allocated per week.
    • These are only used for labor hours tabs.
• Labor Forecast
  • If enabled, below the Employee Assignment section there will be a section that shows all employee labor forecasts by labor type on this job and their headcount allocated per week.
    • These are only used for labor hours tabs.
• Asset Assignment
  • If enabled, at the top of the tab there will be a section section that shows all long-term Asset/Equipment requests/assignments on this job and their hours allocated per week.
    • These are only used for Asset/Equipment tabs.
• Asset Forecast
  • If enabled, below the Asset Assignment section there will be a section that shows all Asset/Equipment labor forecasts by labor type on this job and their headcount allocated per week.
    • These are only used for Asset/Equipment tabs
• Spread option
  • If enabled, this tab will show the Spread option which allows users to spread the Remaining Projected Cost by month for all future months on the project
