Asset Forecasts

Asset Forecasts

Inside Jobs > Jobs List > Job Details, users can find a new page called ‘Asset Forecasts.’ This page works much like the Labor Forecasts page and tracks and manages forecasts for assets such as equipment and assignments. Users can view the Asset forecasts by date in Daily, Weekly, or Monthly intervals.

Create an Assignment Forecast

Select ‘+ Add Assignment’ and a modal will appear that allows users to begin an Assignment Forecast with details like:

• Resource Type

• Assigned Resource

  • The ‘Find’ button allows users to locate assets on an interactive map. Certain permissions are required to view details on the Map. Read about it, here: Permissions

• Primary Category 

• Additional categories

• Job Status

• Site Name

• Job Phases

• Schedule

• Notes

Select ‘Save & Close.’

Create an Asset Category 

Select, ‘+Add Forecast’ and a modal will appear that allows users to make an Asset Forecast by Category with details like:

• Beginning and End Date

• Duration by week

• Asset Category

• Ownership

  • Is it owned or rented?

• Weekly Rate

• Budget Code

• Notes

Select ‘Next’ to Distribute the Asset Forecast 

• Select the number of Assets Per Day

Select ‘Initialize.’
