When you are first invited to sign up for Resource Planning, you have the option to use your Microsoft Account. If your organization is a Microsoft shop, this will make future signing in a breeze by using single sing on linked to your typically already signed in Microsoft account. Here are the steps for setting this up for the first time:
After clicking on your Resource Planning invitation email, you will be taken to the Resource Planning Sign in page. After hitting Sign In, you will see the following popup. Instead of creating a new account, click the Microsoft Account button.
If your organization requires MFA (Multi-factor authentication), then you will click through a few additional steps.
If the QR code doesn't work in the Microsoft Authenticator app, click the button that says "Can't scan Image?" and use the code shown on your screen in the authenticator app.
Once your Microsoft Authenticator app has been linked to Fiddletree Resource Planning, you will have to verify your account by entering the code shown on the sign in screen into the Microsoft Authenticator app.
Once verified, there are just a few more screens to click through.
Once done, you will need to do one more email verification. Click the Send verification code button.
Once you have the code in your email, enter it into the field and select the Verify Code button.
Once the code has been verified, click continue.
Click continue one more time and you will be signed into Resource Planning.
