- The Business Groups are how you define which users in Resource Planning will get access to resources. These are typically based on regions, type of work they perform, or both.
- Employee Position Codes
- When requesting a resource, Resource Planning relies on the Employee Position Codes assigned in Vista. These should be normalized/standardized for all field employees that will be scheduled in Resource Planning.
- Are all of your HR Position Codes for employees standardized and filled out on their HR records?
- Are there any HR Position Codes you would like to exclude from the integration?
- Employee Certifications
- Certifications can be used as job requirements when selecting a resource for a position on a job.
- Have all of your HR Skills/Training Codes in Vista been cleaned up?
