Understanding Job Phases


Creating Job Phases

  • Job Phases can be created in Admin > Phases. 
  • You can add a Phase Description, Notes, and an External Phase ID for identification.


Adding a Phase 

  1. Within a Job, go to the Phases page. 
  2. You can use the "Add Phase" button to begin adding a New Phase. 
  3. In the Add Phase modal, you can select one of your Phases, a Description Override as a more specific name, and a Start / End Date for the phase. Additionally, you can make a Phase Driven By another Phase that has already been added to the job. This will base the Start Date of the new Phase on the End Date of the existing Phase. 
  4. This will allow you to map out your entire Job with Phases!


Where do I see Phases? 

  • When creating a Long Term Assignment, you can assign Resources to a specific Phase. The Assignment will match the Start and End Dates of the Phase assigned.
  • On the Job Gantt, Resource Allocation Gantt, Dispatch Board, and Assignment Hours page, Jobs expand into their individual Phases.
