Projections Overview: 

Cost Projections are forward-looking financial planning tools. They help project teams answer questions like, “Based on what we have spent, committed, and know about the remaining work, what do we expect this project to ultimately cost?” 

This is broader than simply tracking actual costs. Cost projections connect budget, actuals, commitments, labor, production, and remaining work to give project managers and executives a picture of the project's expected financial outcome.

To access, navigate to any job in the Jobs List grid and select the ‘Projections’ page for that job. Users can also access a Job’s Cost Projections from the Global Projections page. If they navigate to Projections from Global Projections, they will have ‘Next’ and ‘Previous’ buttons on the Projections page, which will allow them to go through each Job’s Projection they have access to.
