Jobsite>Projections
For the PM’s
The Jobsite Projections page is where users can create or edit the monthly Cost Projections for a Job. When viewing a specific monthly cost projection, users can see all of the tabs that have been configured in Tenant Settings. From this page, Project Managers and Supervisors can view and share projections for each job. Months that are already closed but exist in the system will be available as read only.
Initializing
For future months that do not have a Cost Projection yet, users can click the Initialize button to create a new month's cost projection. Users can also see who last initialized settings in text above the ‘Initialize’ button. If the entire Cost Projection is not submitted, but there is at least one JC Department Submitted, it will show in the text above the ‘Initialize’ button. If any department was already submitted, the ‘Initialize’ button is unclickable.
To View, Initialize, or Export a Job Projection, first select ‘Jobs’ from the top navigation bar, select, ‘Jobs List’ from the drop down menu. Select a job from the gridlist and navigate to the ‘Projections’ page.

How To Use:
The top of the page has filtering options by Month, Initializing button, Approve button (for tenants) and an Export button.
Below that are Template tabs and filtering options by Labor Type and (like Roofers or Electricians). Select a date range by Beginning Week day and End Week Day.
The Defaulted Date Range End Date is based on the latest of Assignments End Date, Labor Forecast Date, and Job End Date.
The start date of the date range will default to the day after the Last Refresh Date. If there is no last refresh date, the start date will default to the Job Start Date.
Summary
The Summary Table shows a Budget Summary Donut (also located in Jobsite>Labor Forecasts).
These Donuts show a Summary of Hours and Costs in their Projected, Actual, and Future Forecasted values as well as a Blended Rate.
In Jobsite>Projections these summaries are only based on a Beginning Date. Whereas in Labor Forecasts they are based on a Beginning and End Date.
In order to keep the ‘By Labor Type’ totals consistent across Labor Forecasts and Cost Projections, a new setting prohibits users from entering a projection end date that falls before the forecast date.
If the selected date range excludes any data from the results, a warning message will appear by the date range toggle.
Forecast
This graph shows a Filled Headcount of Different Labor types vs Beginning Day of the Week over a selected period of time.
Hover the mouse over different points of interest to see exact numbers.
By Labor Type
This chart shows Labor Types and their Budget Groups, Notes, Work Schedule, Rate, Totals, and Dates by the week.
Users can Edit or Delete labor types directly from this page by clicking the pencil icon.
Select ‘Add Forecast’ to Create a New Labor Type.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to search Projections by Labor Type.

Additional Notes for Users:
Within cost projections a modal can't be dismissed when the older and newer versions are out of sync. The system will check every 5 minutes and when a user navigates between tabs.
Upon submission there will be a "snapshot" taken of the data on the cost projection for historical reference.
When a projection has already been initialized for a selected date, more options will be available like:
Add New Data Only
Will only pull in new phase codes and cost types.
Only Update Actuals
Update only actual values, keep existing projections.
Override All Values
Replace all existing projection data with new values.
Only Tenant Admins and JC Department Admins can un-submit Cost Projections.
When deleting a projection category, a confirmation modal will appear to confirm.
The Projection category overlay will only show active Budget Groups.
