Assignments
Add Budget Code and Rate
Mostly used for cost projections so select ‘Disabled’ if not using
Allow users to override the hourly totals per week
If enabled, users can edit the hours worked per week on the Labor Forecast grid for long term assignments.
Note: If “Allow users to override the hourly totals per week” is enabled and a user overrides the hours in a week, the Assignment % Allocation will update to ‘Custom.’
Do not include Job Notes in schedule notification emails
On long-term assignments, users can automatically pull in any notes that are on that Job Detail record into the email. If users don't want those included, set this setting as ‘Enabled.’
Do not restrict resources available based on Primary or Additional Categories”
When ‘Disabled’ this means users can assign anybody to a created long-term assignment.
Example: When users are looking for a Project Manager, they are able to select someone from a list of all employees
Notify the user who created the request which resource was assigned when a different user fills the request.
If enabled, when a request is saved with an assigned resource, the creator of the request will receive an email if different from the person doing the assignment.
Prevent resource over-allocation on assignments
The setting prevents over-allocation on Gantts, Dispatch Board, Assignments, and Daily Scheduling and defaults Off
If Enabled
If a crew is moved to a job and any of the crew or any of the crew members are already assigned to a job, an error message appears listing the Jobs the employees are listed on.
If an employee is moved to another job, an error message appears and lists the job/jobs they are already on.
If Asset is moved to another job, an error message appears and lists the job/jobs they are already on.
If Disabled
This resource can't be assigned since this will over allocate them. Please review their current allocations and assignments.
Cost Projections
Allow Labor Forecasting by Budget Group
Balance Budgets to Projection Values
Budget Corrections must equal 0 to ensure proper Budget Transfers
If enabled, you users will not be able to submit a Cost Projections if their Budget Corrections do not equal 0.
This ensures that budget transfers are more accurate.
Current Month/Year[type in]
Set Remaining Projected to Zero
When enabled, Employee Assignments and Asset Forecasts linked to Budget codes will auto populate the Cost Projection grid at Total Projected Cost.
If there are no Employee Assignments or Asset Forecasts linked to specific Budget Codes on this tab, the Total Projected Cost in the Cost Projection grid is set to zero.
Enable for all users with Job Can View Sensitive Permissions
If this setting is not enabled, Enable for all users with Job Can View Sensitive permissions, then the following pages will be hidden:
Projections
Change Orders
Contract Items
Budget By Month
Revenue By Month
Budget Variance
Enable Projection Department Approval
Include NTP in Revenue Export
This will include the NTPs on the Revenue Export file.
NTP Revenue Contract Item Pattern
This is where you add the contract item pattern to tell the system this is what should be defaulted for the NTPs.
When adding a new NTP, if the Revenue Item is left blank, the one matching the setting pattern one will be selected after save.
Enter a text pattern (e.g. ZWIP-) to enable auto-filtering and auto-selection of Revenue Contract Items on Change Orders. Any non-blank value activates the feature; leave blank to disable it entirely.
When active, only Revenue Contract Items whose ContractItem code contains this pattern (case-insensitive) are shown in the dropdown on the Add NTP/Change Order modal and the Change Orders editor card. For example, setting the pattern to ZWIP- will show only items such as ZWIP-01, ZWIP-02, etc.
When a Job Department is selected, the Revenue Contract Item is automatically set to the first matching item linked to that department.
When a Revenue Contract Item is selected, the Job Department is automatically set from that item.
Auto-selection relies on the last two characters of the Job Department code matching the last two characters of the Revenue Contract Item code (e.g. a department with code ending in 01 maps to the contract item ZWIP-01, and a department ending in 02 maps to ZWIP-02).

If selected, only approved cost projections will be exported through the Global Projections Export button or the Auto Export function.

Sync Projection Period End date to Job End Date
When enabled, saving a new Period End Date on a Projection will also update the Job End Date on the associated Jobsite
Dispatch Board
Daily Scheduling auto-lock hours after midnight
This drop down allows users to select how many hours after midnight the daily scheduling auto-locks on previous scheduling days. It will default to blank which means 12:00am.
Long Term Assignments to use locked Job Dates or Phase Dates
If ‘Disabled,’ when users use the Dispatch Board to make long-term assignments, the software will default to either 1 day, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, or 1 quarter for the assignments, and then the user making that assignment can drag it out longer as desired.
The down-side of doing it this way is that it’s not locked to the Job Start/End dates or the Job Phase Start/End dates. So if those ever change, the assignments would need to be manually adjusted as well.
Forecasts
Allow Labor Forecasts by Jobsite Phase
When a user is forecasting out a short-term labor needed to complete a project, this allows users to link that to a jobsite construction phase for resource planning.
This setting will default off. However, if Enabled, Labor can be Forecasted to specific Jobsite Phases and the phase dates. This will lock the forecasts to the dates and if those dates are changed, the labor forecast and any Daily Scheduling assignments will adjust accordingly.
If the duration of an assignment is extended, it will automatically add the last used forecast and daily assignment.
Show Assigned Counts on the Labor Forecast and Asset Forecast
Show Notes in Asset Forecasts
Info Icons offer more information on Positions, Budget Codes, and Asset Categories for that labor type.
Show Notes in Labor Forecasts
Enabling this setting gives the users the ability to plug in a note along with a labor forecast as an internal note (the people assigned to the actual forecast will not see the note).
Example: “I need 5 mechanical guys for the next 6 weeks”
Show rates on Labor and Asset Forecasts
Enabling this setting gives the users the ability to plug in an estimated rate per hour as the job is forecasted out.
Show the General Labor Type option
If enabled, this will show the General Labor Type in the Labor Forecast modal.
The General Labor Type is used to assign anyone to a job. If a user's labor types are more precise then this setting can be Disabled’ otherwise ‘Enabled’ would work best.
Gantt
Group Resources under their assigned phases
The Job Gantt shows all jobs and all the people assigned to those jobs. If this setting is ‘Enabled’ then opening a job with different phases will expand and show the phases as groupings that also expand to see who is assigned to each phase.
If the setting is ‘Disabled’ then only Resources will be listed so users won't have to click into each phase group to see who is assigned to those phases, it all depends on how the users prefer to see the data.
Hide Entire Job phase from Gantts
Similar to hiding the General Labor Type option, when using a construction phase called “Entire Job” it allows for an optional additional setting.
Used to see data from different points of view
When enabled, the Entire Job phase will not be visible.
Show all resources assigned to a Job on the Job Gantt or Job view on the Dispatch Board
General
Dispatcher unassigned request reminder email frequency
Turned off by Default
When enabled, users with the Dispatch permission will receive a digest email at 6AM EST losing all active requests that have no assigned resource.
Off: No emails sent
Daily: Email sent every day
Twice Weekly: Email sent every Monday and Thursday
Weekly (Monday): email sent every Monday
Weekly (Friday): Email sent every Friday
Include Job # in Budget Code description
Week Beginning Day
Select the day users want the first day of the work week to begin.
Jobs
Enable Job specific phases for Tenant Admins, PM users, and those with Edit Job permissions
By default in the system, the admins can set up phases and on each job those phases can be added to the job. This setting allows an additional level where users can have job specific phases per job as description overrides on the main list of phases.
If the user prefers a more standard list of phases, select ‘Disabled.’
Work Orders
Enable Work Orders
When enabled, Work orders (Hauls, Service, Maintenance, Equipment) are available in the Dispatch Board and Requests grid.
Disable to keep the interface uncluttered if your team does not use Work Orders.
Disabled by Default
